I was also able to find a thread from last october on the qbittorrent github detailing my same issue. but, it doesn't show the Port, so can't connect back to me. if I start seeing a torrent, my tracker shows both IPs. now have network settings bound to my openvpn tap adapter. I have qBittorrent v4.1.1 installed and just upgraded my Cable modem to give me both IPv6 and IPv4 networks. I had UPnP on for all tests, I've heard this has caused issues with qbittorrent in the past? I love this program but cant continue using it if it leaks my real ip when using vpns.ĮDIT: learned my lesson. the problem only replicates when using qbittorrent. sure enough the only ip revealed is the vpn.
